Human Being and Nature of Perception

Abstract

This academic article aims to study the concept of human being and perception. From the study, it founds that an important process that humans use to understand the world and the environment around them, using the five sense organs: eyes, ears, nose, tongue, and body as the receivers of various sensations. Then, it will send results to the brain for interpretation. It is a process of the brain interpreting information received from various things, causing the person to respond to those stimuli, which are expressed as various human behaviors, both good and bad. When entering through the five doors, it can be seen that good stories (Kusala) and bad stories (Akusala) will be stored in the mind. However, the working process of the mind has the function of sending or being a driving force for humans to display physical behaviors, both good (Kusala) and bad (Akusala). Perception is not just a physical process, but is also influenced by psychological factors, culture, and individual experiences. This article analyzes the human perception process by considering both biology and psychology, including factors that may cause perception errors such as cognitive biases, misperceptions, and using past experiences to determine data interpretation. The results of this study help understand the complexity of perception and apply them to various fields such as communication, design, and the development of analytical thinking skills.
