Preparing Your Manuscript

Submission Process

  1. Registration: Authors need to register with the journal prior to submitting a manuscript. If you are a new user, please register on our website. If you are already registered, simply log in to your account to begin the submission process.

  2. Five-Step Submission: Once logged in, you can begin the submission process, which consists of the following five steps:
    Step 1: Start: Select the appropriate section for your manuscript and agree to the submission requirements.
    Step 2: Upload Submission: Upload your manuscript file and any supplementary materials.
    Step 3: Enter Metadata: Enter detailed information about the authors, title, abstract, and keywords.
    Step 4: Confirmation: Confirm that all submission requirements have been met and complete the submission.
    Step 5: Next Steps: After submission, you will receive a confirmation email and can track the progress of your manuscript through the review process.

Post-Submission

  1. Peer Review: All submitted manuscripts undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process. Reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on criteria such as originality, significance, methodology, and clarity. You may be asked to make revisions based on the reviewers' feedback.

  2. Editorial Decision: Based on the reviewers' recommendations, the editorial team will make a decision on your manuscript. Possible outcomes include acceptance, minor revisions, major revisions, or rejection. You will be notified of the decision and provided with feedback to improve your manuscript.

  3. Publication: Once accepted, your manuscript will undergo copyediting, proofreading, and formatting before being published in the next available issue of IMED Journal. You will receive a notification once your article is published online.
