THE EFFECTS OF ART EXPERIENCE PROVISION USING NATURE - BASED TO DEVELOP ANALYTICAL THINKING SKILLS OF YOUNG CHILDREN

This study aimed to investigate the effects of art experience provision using nature-based to develop analytical thinking skills of young children.The target group in this study consisted of 16 male and female children,aged between 5–6 years old studying in Kindergarten 3, Semester 2, Academic Year 2024, at Wat Mab Phrachan School (Ratbumrung Prachawitthaya), under the Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Primary Educational Service Area Office 1. Cluster sampling was used in the selection of the sample. The research instruments used in this study included: 24 lesson plans on the effects of art experience provision using nature-based to develop analytical thinking skills of young children,an analytical thinking skill test for young children. Data were analyzed using mean, standard deviation, and content analysis.The results showed that after implementing the nature-based art experience activities, young children’s analytical thinking scores were higher than before the experiment both overall and in specific aspects on classification, comparison, and categorization.
