DEVELOPMENT OF BLENDED TRAINING PACKAGES BASED ON PRACTICE-BASED CONCEPTS TO PROMOTE TEACHERS’ ONLINE TEACHING MANAGEMENT ABILITY AT PROVINCIAL COMPLETE SECONDARY SCHOOL OF OUDOMXAY PROVINCE IN LAO PDR

The objectives of the research were 1) to develop blended training packages based on practice-based concepts to promote teachers’ online teaching management ability at provincial complete secondary schools in Oudomxayprovince in Lao PDR, 2) to compare achievement tests before and after training withthe blended training packages based on practice-based concepts, 3) to study the ability of teachers after training withthe blended training packages based on practice-based concepts, and 4) to study the satisfaction of teachers after using the blended training packages based on practice-based concepts. The research sample consisted of 30 teachers at provincial complete secondary schools in Oudomxay province in Lao PDR. Thevariables were 1) the independent variable was the blended training packages based on practice-based concepts, and 2) the dependent variables were the achievement, teachers’ online teaching management ability, and teachers’ satisfaction. The statistics used for analysis were mean, standard deviation, percentage, and t-test. The results show that 1) the blended training packages based on practice-based concepts to promote teachers’ online teaching management ability, including knowledge and understanding, media and facilities in training, lecturers, and learning formats, were at the highest level, 2) the average achievement score after training was higher than before training with significance at the .05 level, 3) the sample group had scores after using the blended training packages based on practice-based concepts higher than 70 percent, and 4) the satisfaction of teachers after using the blended training packages based on practice-based concepts was at the highest level (M= 4.76).
