DEVELOPMENT OF A CHATBOT THROUGH M-LEARNING FOR TEACHING THAI LITERATURE “MAHAVESSANDON JATAKA” TO MATTHAYOMSUKSA 4 STUDENTS

Abstract

The purpose of this research is 1) to develop a chatbot through M-learning for teaching Thai literature on the topic of Mahavessandon Jatakafor Mathayomsuksa4 students. 2) To investigate the resultsof using the chatbot through M-learningfor learning Thai literature, Mahavessandon Jataka for Mathayomsuksa4 students and 3) to study the satisfaction of Mathayomsuksa4 students with the teaching of Thai literature, Mahavessandon Jatakawith a chatbot via M-Learning usingresearch tools: 1) a chatbot through M-Learning for teaching Thai literature, Mahavessandon Jatakafor Mathayomsuksa 4 students, 2) an achievement test for teaching Thai literature, Mahavessandon Jatakafor Mathayomsuksa 4 studentswith a chatbot through M-Learning.3) Questionnaire on satisfaction with a chatbots through M-Learning for teaching and learning Thai literature: Mahavessandon Jatakafor Mathayomsuksa 4 students. The sample group consisted of 30 Mathayom 4 students at Kanchanaphisek Wittayalai School, Surat Thani Province.Use of descriptive statistics such as percentage (percent), mean (M), standard deviation (SD) and use of inferential statistics, namely t-test (T-test dependent).The results of the study showed that the results of using chatbots via m-learning to teach Thai literature on the topic of Maha Vessantara Jataka to Mathayom 4 learners that after being taught with the chatbot system via m-learning, will lead to better academic performance compared to the previous study with the chatbot system via m-learning with statistical significance at the 0.01 level. In terms of satisfaction, it was found that Mathayom 4 students from Kanchanaphisek Wittayalai School in Surat Thani Province achieved the highest overall satisfaction by learning with chatbots via M-learning to teach Thai literature on the topic of Maha Vessantara Jataka.
