Abstract

This research consists purposes were to study the data of Sao Lao Subdistrict Community Nong Kung Si District Kalasin Province. This is a qualitative research The research instrument is an interview form The target group is 20 people who are selected by purposive sampling. The data collected from documents and interview forms are analyzed by content analysis. The research results found that 1) Physical aspect 1.1) Infrastructure and transportation 1.2) Natural resources and water sources 1.3) Community facilities and important places 2) Wisdom in making Jaew Bong: Making Jaew Bong is a skill passed down from generation to generation using local ingredients such as fermented fish, chili, galangal, lemongrass and other herbs. In addition to preserving the food identity of the community, it also helps build relationships among people in the community through the transfer of knowledge and grouping together to produce Jaew Bong for sale 3) Social capital in fermented fish: reflects the local wisdom and culture of food preservation of the Isan people, which has been passed down from generation to generation. Making fermented fish in the community relies on ingredients from local water sources such as carp and tilapia. by using the traditional fermentation process that has been developed for a long time and 4) social capital in terms of unity, which is an important foundation that helps strengthen the community and promotes development in all aspects The unity of the villagers is reflected in their mutual assistance.
