Development of the Leadership Capacity of Sangha Administrators for Monastic Governance in Mueang District, Nakhon Nayok Province

Abstract

The research methodology was a mixed-method quantitative research with a reliability of 0.806 for the sample group of 228 people. Data were analyzed using a social science software package using statistics, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and hypothesis testing using t-test, F-test, and one-way analysis of variance. Qualitative research was conducted by interviewing 9 key informants using descriptive content analysis techniques.

       The research results found that 1. The level of monks' practice towards the role of the Sangha chief in the administration of the Sangha in Mueang District, Nakhon Nayok Province, as a whole, was at a high level (\bar{x}=3.90, S.D.=0.32). 2. The results of comparing the opinions of monks with different personal factors such as age, years of ordination, general education, and Dharma education, had no different opinions, so the research hypothesis was rejected. 3.
