Effectiveness of the Management of the Sub-District Public Training Unit the Monks in Khao Phra Subdistrict, Mueang District, Nakhon Nayok Province

Abstract

To propose a guideline to promote the effectiveness of the management of the training unit of the people in the sub-district of the Sangha chief in Khao Phra Sub-district, Mueang District, Nakhon Nayok Province. The research methodology was a mixed-methods quantitative research with a reliability of 0.908 for the sample group of 335 monks. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, including frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and correlation coefficient. The qualitative research collected data from 9 key informants or people using the descriptive content analysis technique and summarized it as an essay.

The research results found that 1. The overall effectiveness of the management of the training unit of the Sangha in Khao Phra Sub-district, Mueang District, Nakhon Nayok Province was found to be at the highest level (\bar{x}=4.76, S.D.=0.20). 2. The relationship between the management of the training unit of the Sangha in Khao Phra Sub-district and the overall effectiveness of the management of the training unit of the Sangha in Khao Phra Sub-district was positively related at a high level (r=0.812**). 3. The guidelines for promoting the effectiveness of the management of the training unit of the Sangha in Khao Phra Sub-district, Mueang District, Nakhon Nayok Province were found to be 1) promoting careers to create sustainable communities and cultural conservation activities 2) using the “Bor Wor” mechanism (home-temple-school/state) to develop communities with morality and integrating local wisdom 3) promoting self-reliant careers and supporting ecotourism 4) promoting arts, culture, health, economy, and adaptation in a multicultural society 5) using online media to develop centers and user-friendly information search systems
