Development of the Learning Activity Packages on the Topic ‘Good Life, Happy Family’ for Career Education of 6th Grade Students

Abstract

This study aims to: 1) Create and assess the effectiveness of Learning Activity Packages on the topic ‘Good Life, Happy Family’ for 6th-grade students in career education, with the goal of achieving a standard score of 80/80; 2) Compare the learning performance scores of 6th-grade students before and after using the Learning Activity Packages on the topic ‘Good Life, Happy Family’ in career education, with the objective of significantly improving their performance; and 3) Evaluate the level of satisfaction among students regarding their learning experience with the Learning Activity Packages on the topic ‘Good Life, Happy Family’ in career education. The study involved a sample group of 32 students from Class P. 6/6. The tools used for this study included: 1) Three sets of learning activity kits; 2) Instruction manuals for using the Learning Activity Packages on the topic ‘Good Life, Happy Family’ to improve learning performance in the subject area of career education for 6th-grade students; 3) Performance measurement tests for ‘Good Life, Happy Family’ before and after the activities; and 4) Questionnaires to measure student satisfaction with the ‘Good Life, Happy Family’ learning activities. Statistical analysis used in data analysis included mean values, percentages, standard deviations, and t-test hypothesis testing. The research findings are as follows: 1. The overall effectiveness of the ‘Good Life, Happy Family’ learning activity packages was found to be 84.98/84.90, which exceeds the set standard of 80/80. 2. When comparing learning performance, the post-activity test scores were significantly higher on average than the pre-activity test scores, with statistical significance at the 0.05 level. 3. The level of satisfaction among students regarding their learning experience with the ‘Good Life, Happy Family’ learning activity packages was found to be at the highest level.
