Abstract

This independent study aims to investigate the current conditions and desired conditions of the management of the Professional Learning Community (PLC) at Ban Huai Krai School, to investigate causes and main factors for the management of the professional learning community at Ban Huai Krai School, to investigate guidelines for the management of the professional learning community at Ban Huai Krai School under the jurisdiction of the Chiang Rai Primary Educational Service Area Office 3. The population studied consisted of 33 individuals. The study employed questionnaires, interviews, and group discussions to gather data. The data was analyzed by calculating averages, standard deviations, and summarizing content in an essay. The results revealed that, for the current conditions of the management of the professional learning community at Ban Huai Krai School, the improvement step had the highest average; and for the desired conditions, the improvement step also had the highest average. Two significant causes and factors were identified: “structure and policy” of the educational institution (structure: S1) and “Personnel” (man: M1). In managing the professional learning community in the digital era at Ban Huai Krai School, it is essential to develop teachers' and personnel's potential to adapt to changes in this era. This development should align with the administrative structure while disseminating knowledge to the public based on real-world scenarios. In summary, this study provides valuable insights into managing professional learning communities effectively in educational institutions during the digital age.
