Objectives and Scope of the Journalวัตถุประสงค์และขอบเขตของวารสาร
The Journal of Social Sciences Innovations aims to serve as an academic platform for disseminating knowledge, research findings, and scholarly articles that emphasize “innovation” within the field of social sciences. The journal covers conceptual, theoretical, methodological, policy-oriented, and applied studies in contemporary social contexts. The scope includes, but is not limited to, the following areas:
1. Social Innovation The development of innovations to address social problems, inequality, quality of life, community sustainability, and participatory social development.
2. Politics, Governance, and Innovative Public Policy Contemporary politics and governance, decentralization, new public management, public policy, innovative policy approaches, and good governance.
3. Public Administration and Management of Public, Private, and Civil Society Sectors
Public sector administration, local government management, New Public Management/New Public Service, and network governance.
4. Economy, Society, and Sustainable Development Community economy, creative economy, digital economy, sufficiency economy, and sustainable development in social, economic, and environmental dimensions.
5. Education, Learning Innovation, and Human Capital Development Educational policy, educational administration, learning innovation, teacher and educational leadership development, and lifelong learning.
6. Law, Society, and Justice Law and social change, human rights, social justice, law and technology, and the protection of rights in contemporary society.
7. Culture, Identity, and Contemporary Society
Cultural change, social identity, cultural diversity, media, discourse, and digital society.
8. Digital Technology, Artificial Intelligence, and Social Sciences The impacts of digital technology and AI on society, politics, economy, education, law, and human behavior.
9. Interdisciplinary Research in Social Sciences
Research integrating social sciences with other disciplines such as humanities, law, education, business administration, technology, and environmental studies.
10. Academic Articles, Research Articles, and Innovative Review Articles Including Research Articles, Academic Articles, Review Articles, and policy- or concept-oriented analytical articles that provide academic and social value.
Peer Review Process
Articles accepted for publication must undergo a peer review process by three experts. The journal publishes articles in both Thai and English. Submitted manuscripts must not have been previously published or be under review by another journal. Authors are required to strictly comply with the regulations of the Thai Journal Citation Index Centre (TCI) and adhere to the journal’s referencing and citation guidelines.
The views and opinions expressed in published articles are solely those of the authors and do not necessarily reflect those of the editorial team or the editorial board. The journal does not reserve copyright restrictions on reproduction; however, proper citation of the source is required.
Types of Articles Published
1. Research Articles Quantitative, qualitative, or mixed-methods research that is systematically designed and academically analyzed to generate new knowledge or extend existing knowledge.
2. Academic Articles Articles focusing on in-depth analysis and discussion of concepts, theories, social phenomena, or contemporary issues related to education and human development.
3. Review Articles / Book Reviews Critical reviews and syntheses of literature, academic works, or research studies to provide broader and deeper understanding of relevant fields.
4. Innovative Practices Presentations of best practices, models, or approaches in education management and human development that are creative and practically applicable.
Publication Schedule
The journal is published six issues per year (bimonthly):
Issue 1: January – February
Issue 2: March – April
Issue 3: May – June
Issue 4: July – August
Issue 5: September – October
Issue 6: November – December
Policy on AI-Generated Content
The Journal of Social Sciences Innovations (JSSI) acknowledges the potential of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in generating useful content for submitted manuscripts. However, the journal emphasizes the ethical and responsible use of AI-generated content.
This policy outlines the journal’s guidelines for the use of AI-generated content in published articles.
1. Definition of AI-Generated Content
For the purposes of this policy, any content generated or substantially modified by an AI system is considered AI-generated content. This includes content entirely generated by AI systems as well as human-authored content that has been significantly altered by AI.
2. Principles
JSSI will only publish AI-generated content that complies with the following rules:
*AI systems must not be listed as authors of submitted manuscripts.
*The AI system used must be clearly and accurately described in the article.
*The contribution of human authors must be explicitly acknowledged.
*AI-generated content must be original and free from plagiarism.
*AI-generated content must be accurate and reliable.
*AI-generated content must not mislead or deceive readers.
3. Procedures
Authors submitting manuscripts containing AI-generated content must provide the following information to JSSI:
*A detailed description of the AI system used to generate the content
*Copies of the original input data used
*Copies of the AI-generated content
*A statement acknowledging the contribution of human authors
JSSI will evaluate the AI-generated content and determine its suitability for publication.
4. Enforcement
JSSI reserves the right to reject or retract any article that does not comply with this policy.
Article Processing Charges (APCs)
No publication fees are charged. Publication is free of charge.
Acceptance Notification
To inform authors regarding publication acceptance by the Journal of Social Sciences Innovations, the following procedures apply:
1. An official acceptance letter will be issued once the peer review process has been completed and the authors have revised the manuscript in accordance with reviewers’ recommendations.
2. Acceptance letters will be sent exclusively via the journal’s official email
(socialscienceinnovation.12@gmail.com) directly to all listed authors of the article.
