Abstract

This study aimed to: (1) compare students’ academic achievement before and after learning through artificial intelligence–assisted active learning, (2) examine students’ satisfaction, and (3) evaluate the instructional effectiveness based on the specified criteria. The research employed a pre-experimental design using a one-group pretest–posttest approach. The sample consisted of 30 Grade 3 students from Ban Non Sa-at School, Fao Rai District, Nong Khai Province, selected through census sampling. The research instruments included eight lesson plans integrating artificial intelligence with active learning, a 20-item multiple-choice achievement test, and a 10-item satisfaction questionnaire using a five-point rating scale. Data were collected through pretesting, instructional implementation, posttesting, and satisfaction assessment. The data were analyzed using mean, standard deviation, and dependent samples t-test.
The results revealed that students’ posttest scores were significantly higher than their pretest scores at the .05 level (t = 18.76, p < .05). Students’ overall satisfaction was at the highest level. Additionally, the instructional effectiveness met the 80/80 criterion (E1/E2 = 83.00/84.15), which exceeded the established benchmark. These findings indicate that integrating artificial intelligence with active learning significantly enhances learning outcomes both statistically and practically.
