ADMINISTRATION OF EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS BASED ON GOOD GOVERNANCE IN PHRAPARIYATTIDHAMMA SCHOOLS GENERAL EDUCATION DIVISION IN NONG KHAI PROVINCE

Abstract

          This study aimed to: 1) investigate the level of educational institution administration based on good governance in Phrapariyattidhamma Schools (General Education Division) in Nong Khai Province, and 2) compare the opinions of personnel regarding administration based on good governance classified by gender, age, educational level, and work experience. The research employed a survey research design. The sample consisted of 140 administrators and teachers in Phrapariyattidhamma Schools (General Education Division) in Nong Khai Province, determined using the Krejcie and Morgan table and selected by stratified random sampling. The research instrument was a five-point rating scale questionnaire with a reliability coefficient of 0.96. Data were analyzed using mean, standard deviation, t-test, and one-way ANOVA.
          The results revealed that: 1) the overall level of educational institution administration based on good governance was at a high level (x̄ = 4.21, S.D. = 0.57). The aspect with the highest mean score was morality, followed by accountability and rule of law; and 2) personnel with different gender, age, educational level, and work experience did not significantly differ in their opinions regarding educational administration based on good governance at the .05 level.
