Development of Infographic Print Media for Promoting “Prakam” Handicrafts of the Lower Northeast, Integrated with Augmented Reality

Introduction: The objectives of this research were: 1) to develop infographic print media for promoting “Prakam” (Silver Beads), a traditional handicraft of the Lower Northeast, integrated with Augmented Reality (AR); 2) to evaluate the quality of the developed infographic print media; and 3) to measure the satisfaction of the sample group towards the infographic promotional materials.
Methodology: The sample group consisted of 30 tourists visiting the Silver Craft Village (Ban Choke), Khwao Sinarin Subdistrict, selected through accidental sampling. The research instruments included: 1) the infographic print media for promoting “Prakam” handicrafts integrated with AR; 2) a quality evaluation form for experts; and 3) a satisfaction questionnaire for the sample group. Data were analyzed using percentage, mean ($\bar{x}$), and standard deviation (S.D.).
Results: The research results indicated the following quality evaluation outcomes: 1) overall content of the infographic animation was at the highest level, 2) overall video content was at a high level, 3) overall poster content was at the highest level, 4) overall brochure content was at a high level, 5) design of the infographic animation was at a high level, 6) video design was at a high level, 7) poster design was at the highest level, and 8) brochure design was at the highest level. Furthermore, the study of satisfaction among tourists visiting the Ban Choke Silver Craft Village towards the developed media was overall at the highest level.
