Abstract

Introduction: This research has the following main objectives: 1) to develop digital media in the form of a Virtual World Environment for public relations of the Bachelor of Technology program in Multimedia Technology, Faculty of Management Technology, Rajamangala University of Technology Isan, Surin Campus; and 2) to study the satisfaction of the target group towards the developed digital media.
Methodology: The research population consisted of undergraduate students in the Multimedia Technology program at the Faculty of Management Technology, Rajamangala University of Technology Isan, Surin Campus, for the academic year 2023. The research tools consisted of a media-quality assessment form developed by experts and a satisfaction assessment form. Basic statistics were used to analyse the data, including percentages, means, and standard deviations.
Results: The development of digital media in a virtual world environment for publicizing the Bachelor of Technology Program in Multimedia Technology, Rajamangala University of Technology Isan, Surin Campus, revealed that the public relations posters effectively highlighted a modern image through Virtual Reality (VR) technology and contrasting color schemes to attract the target audience. The posters also featured QR codes for immediate access to the Spatial.io platform. The quality assessment by experts was high, and the overall satisfaction of the sample group with the media was also high.
