Motion Graphic on Reducing, Refraining and Quitting from Alcoholic Consumption

Introduction: The objectives of this research were: (1) to develop a motion graphic on Reduce, Refrain, and Quit Alcohol Consumption, (2) to evaluate the quality of the motion graphic on Reduce, Refrain, and Quit Alcohol Consumption, and (3) to measure students’ satisfaction with the motion graphic on “Reduce, Refrain, and Quit Alcohol Consumption.
Methodology: The sample group in this study consisted of 21 first-year students enrolled in the first semester of the 2018 academic year in the Multimedia Technology Program, Faculty of Management Technology, Rajamangala University of Technology Isan, Surin Campus. The sampling method employed was purposive sampling. The research instruments included: (1) the motion graphic on Reduce, Refrain, and Quit Alcohol Consumption, (2) an evaluation form for experts to assess the quality of the motion graphic, and (3) a student satisfaction questionnaire on the motion graphic. The statistical methods used for data analysis were percentage, mean, and standard deviation.
Results: The results revealed that the quality evaluation of the motion graphic on Reduce, Refrain, and Quit Alcohol Consumption by experts in the following aspects: (1) content of the motion graphic, (2) content of the poster, (3) content of the video, (4) design of the motion graphic, (5) design of the poster, (6) design of the video, and (7) design of the images, was overall rated at a very good level. Furthermore, the study of students’ satisfaction with the motion graphic on Reduce, Refrain, and Quit Alcohol Consumption indicated that the sample group’s satisfaction was at a high level.
