A Comparison of the Quality of Life and Work Happiness of Accountants Inside and Outside the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC)

Abstract

The objectives of this research were. (1) To study the level of quality of life (2) To study the level of work happiness (3) To compare the quality of life and work happiness of accountants inside and outside the (EEC) area with differing demographic characteristics. (4) To compare whether differences in the quality of life among accountants inside and outside the (EEC) The sample group consisted of 400 accountants from both inside and outside the (EEC) area. The instrument used for data collection was a questionnaire concerning quality of life and work happiness. The statistics employed for data analysis included descriptive statistics (frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation) and inferential statistics (t-test and F-test) at a statistical significance level of 0.05 The findings revealed that accountants' overall quality of life was at a good level. Furthermore hypothesis testing using t-test and F-test indicated that the overall quality of life. Accountants inside the (EEC) area reported significantly higher overall work happiness than those outside the (EEC) area.
