About the Journal

Journal Policies and Scope:
The Journal publishes high-quality articles in Humanities and Social Sciences. The target audience includes faculty members, students, and researchers both within and outside the institution.

Objectives:

  1. To disseminate research findings and academic works of faculty members, personnel, independent scholars, and students, connecting the academic and professional worlds, as well as sharing knowledge for the benefit of overall social development.

  2. To serve as a medium for academic exchange of ideas, fostering academic advancement.

  3. To promote and develop academic potential of personnel both within and outside the institution.

Peer Review Policy:
Articles submitted for consideration for publication in the journal will be assessed for quality by 3 qualified persons. This is a quality assessment method (Double blinded peer review), in which the reviewers do not know the names of the authors and the authors do not know the names of the reviewers. Each article must be considered by at least 2 out of 3 qualified persons.

Types of Articles:
Research articles, academic articles, and/or book reviews.

Published 3 issues per year (January - April, May - August, and September - December) annually.

Publication Fee:
Authors of articles accepted by the journal, in case the work has passed the preliminary review

(Process 1), the author must transfer the article evaluation fee of 4,000 baht to the Krung Thai Bank, Phetkasem 77/2 branch, account name: Journal of Thonburi University, account number 191-0-50013-5.

The preliminary review process for acceptance of publication by the editorial board consists of

          Process 1: Preliminary review on the issues of content scope, printing format, completeness of the article, and supporting documents for submission for publication (transfer the fee after completing Process 1). 

          Process 2: Review of the manuscript by qualified persons of the editorial board on the appropriateness according to the quality criteria of each type of article, including new knowledge discovered. If the article passes the evaluation by qualified persons in related fields and is considered by the editorial board, the author will receive a letter of acceptance for publication within 3 months (starting with Process 2 only).
