Guidelines for Enhancing Quality of Life A Case Study of Ban Nong Mek, Nong Mek Subdistrict, Na Chueak District, Maha Sarakham Province

Abstract

This research consists purposes were 1. To study the community context of Ban Nong Mek, Na Chueak District, Maha Sarakham Province. and 2. To propose guidelines for improving the quality of life of the people in Ban Nong Mek, Na Chueak District, Maha Sarakham Province. This study employed a qualitative research design. The research instruments included interview forms, observation forms, and other related tools. The target group consisted of 30 individuals from Ban Nong Mek, Na Chueak District, Maha Sarakham Province, selected through purposive sampling. Data collected from relevant documents and interviews were analyzed using content analysis.

     The research findings were as follows

1. The community context of Ban Nong Mek, Na Chueak District, Maha Sarakham Province comprised six dimensions 1.1) Geographical context 1.2) Social and cultural context 1.3) Economic context 1.4) Educational and public health context 1.5) Environmental context 1.6) Local tourism context
2. Guidelines for improving the quality of life in the Nong Mek community, Nong Mek Subdistrict, Na Chueak District, Maha Sarakham Province consisted of five key areas 2.1) Guidelines for economics and occupations 2.2) Guidelines for natural resources and the environment 2.3) Guidelines for infrastructure and transportation 2.4) Guidelines for education, society, and public health 2.5) Guidelines for community tourism and culture
