A Study on the General Information of Na Chueak Nuea Community Yang Talat District Kalasin Province

This research consists purposes were to examine the general information of Ban Na Chueak Nuea Community Na Chueak Sub-district Yang Talat District Kalasin Province. This research employed a qualitative approach, using interviews as the research instrument. The target group consisted of 15 residents of Ban Na Chueak Nuea, Village No.11 Na Chueak Sub-district Yang Talat District Kalasin Province, selected through purposive sampling. The data collected from relevant documents and interviews were analyzed using content analysis. The findings revealed that Ban Na Chueak Nuea is a medium-sized community in the rural area of Yang Talat District Kalasin Province. Most of the population are long-established local residents who have lived in the area for generations, maintaining strong kinship ties and mutual assistance. The social structure still reflects a “community society,” with close bonds among villagers. Temples and schools serve as central hubs for social and cultural activities. Most residents practice Buddhism, which plays a significant role in instilling moral values, unity, and a simple way of life. The villagers place importance on participating in religious activities, such as making merit and offering alms on Buddhist holy days, as well as traditional merit-making festivals, including Bun Bang Fai (Rocket Festival), Bun Khao Pradap Din, and Bun Ok Phansa (End of Buddhist Lent). These activities help strengthen relationships within the community. Regarding family structure, most households are extended families with multiple generations living together, fostering warmth and a system of mutual support in daily life
