Buddhist integration for promoting digital education management in secondary schools at Mueang Nan District in Nan Province

Abstract

The objectives of this research were 1) study the level of digital education management in secondary schools in Mueang Nan District, Nan Province 2) examine the relationship between the Threefold Wisdom pañña 3 and the promotion of digital education management in secondary schools and 3) propose Buddhist integration to promote digital education management in secondary schools. This is a mixed-methods research study combining quantitative research from a sample of 152 people, using questionnaires and statistical analysis including frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and Pearson correlation coefficient; and qualitative research through in-depth interviews with 10 key informants, using an interview guide and descriptive content analysis.

The results of this research found that:

1. The overall level of digital-era educational management in secondary schools in Mueang Nan District, Nan Province, is high ( = 4.41). When considered by individual aspects, all aspects are at a high level.
2. The overall relationship between the Threefold Wisdom (pañña) and the promotion of digital-era educational management in secondary schools, shows a very high positive correlation (R=.822**), statistically significant at the 0.01 level.
3. Buddhist integration to promote digital-era educational management in secondary, involves integrating and applying the Threefold Wisdom as follows: In the area of ​​Sutamaya-pañña (wisdom gained through hearing), new knowledge should be sought and digital skills developed for personnel through training and knowledge exchange. In the area of ​​Chintamaya-pañña (wisdom gained through thought), information should be analyzed, planned, and decision-making made rationally. And in the area of ​​Bhavanamaya-pañña (wisdom gained through practice and training until proficiency is achieved), in order to create sustainable educational innovation.
