THE LIFE STYLE AND DIET OF MONKS IN THE PERIOD OF BUDDHA

Buddhist lifestyle is a way of life different from general people in the world. Monks are begger. Live a simple, lonely and happy life without collecting any factors. The ultimate goal of monks is nirvana. The monks depend on the faithful villagers. Therefore, monks and villagers are connected and dependent on each other. Monks also play a leading role in villagers' lives, leading villagers to get rid of pain. The food of Buddhist monks comes from charity, and their diet will cause problems. For example, because of the monks' diet, society and villagers suffer, and physical problems caused by improper diet of monks. Therefore, the Buddha proposed the principle of nutrition to solve the problems caused by the monks' diet and maintain their faith and belief in Buddhism. But entering the modern society, some nutrition may not be integrated into society. Some of nutrition may conflict with social regulations, and Led to serious violations of discipline by monks.
