Comparison of Publications Indexed by Graduate Students of Environmental Technology for Agriculture Program, Science and Technology Faculty, Pathumwan Institute of Technology during 2020 – 2023

This analytical study aimed to determine the proportion of graduate students in Environmental Technology for Agricultural program, Faculty of Science and Technology, Pathumwan Institute of Technology thatpublished in the national database andinternational database. Being co-authored by graduate studentsfrom January 2020 – June 2023 total 18 articles. Subsequently, the study searched such publications with names of all graduate students who had graduated from 2020 to 2023 and currently enrolled students. An article was considered being co-authored by a student if it was published at least 1 year after enrollment and less than 1 year after graduation.The analysis revealed publications co-authored by graduate students of Environmental Technology for Agriculturalprogram had the most published articles in the national database, Thai-Journal Citation Index Center (TCI 1) at 88.9%followed by in the international database, Scopus 11.1 %. In the TCI1 database, master’s students published articles 37.5%, doctoral studentspublished articles 62.5%. In the Scopus international database, 100% of doctoral students published articles.This study suggested that Pathumwan Institute of Technology should encourage and provide incentives to master's degree students to report and produce research that may not additionally related to the thesis and have targeted support policyfor teachers who can support and encourage supervised doctoral students to publish their articles in international databases.
