THE DEVELOPMENT OF GOVERNMENT BUDGET GRANT RESEARCH MANAGEMENT SYSTEM, UNIVERSITY OF PHAYAO

Abstract
The objective of this research article were 1) to develop the research management system of government budget grant, University of Phayao; and 2) to evaluate the effectiveness of the research management system of government budget grant, University of Phayao. The mathods of study was a development and research on the principles of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC). There were 3 groups of samples for this study using purposive sampling. The first group contained with 3 content experts. The second group was 5 experts from information system development and research management. The third group was 118 academic officers who aim to apply for the support from government budget grant of University of Phayao in 2018. The research instruments were used for this study; 1) the research management system of government budget grant, University of Phayao and 2) effectiveness evaluation from of the system by the experts and end users. The result of the study found that 1. the system that had got development, that had cover the process of submitting the project proposal, project management, project monitoring and project evaluation of government budget grant. 2. The effectiveness evaluation of the systems by experts and end users indicated that the system showed overall effectiveness in a level of very good sufficiency ( = 4.48 and 4.53, respectively).
