ADMINISTRATIVE GUIDELINES FOR HIGHLAND SCHOOLS WITH ETHNIC STUDENTS IN THE DIGITAL ERA OF THE DEVELOPMENT EDUCATION NETWORK UNDER CHIANG MAI PRIMARY EDUCATIONAL SERVICE AREA OFFICE 6

Abstract

The objectives of this research were to 1) examine the current conditions and problems of school administration, 2) compare the opinions of administrators, teachers, educational personnel, and school boards on the current conditions and problems of the administration of highland schools and 3) administrative guidelines for highland schools with ethnic students in the digital age in the development education network under Chiang Mai Primary Educational Service Area Office 6 The population used in the research included school administrators, teacher faculties and educational personnel, and school boards of the development education network under Chiang Mai Primary Educational Service Area Office 6, for a total of 192.  The tools used in the research consisted of questionnaires.  The data were analyzed by an application package for frequencies, percentages, mean and standard deviation, and one-way analysis of variance (One-Way ANOVA).

The results indicated that:

1. Current conditions and problems of highland schools with ethnic students in the digital age in the development education network under Chiang Mai Primary Educational Service Area Office 6: The overall current conditions were at a high level. In reviewing each aspect, it was found that all items were at high levels. At ordering from high to low average values, the order was personnel administration, general administration, technology usage in the digital era, budget administration, and academic administration.  The overall problem conditions were at a high level.  In reviewing each aspect, it was found that all items were at high levels.  At ordering from high to low average values, the order was technology usage in the digital era, personnel administration, academic administration, general administration, and budget administration.

2. Comparison of the opinions of administrators, teachers, educational personnel, and school boards on the current conditions and problems in the administration of highland schools with ethnic students in the digital age in the development education network under Chiang Mai Primary Educational Service Area Office 6: It was found that the opinions of the current conditions were not statistically different at 0.05. However, the opinions on problem conditions showed statistically significant differences at 0.05.

3. Administrative guidelines for highland schools with ethnic students in the digital age in the development education network under Chiang Mai Primary Educational Service Area Office 6 consisted of five school administrative guidelines. These included academic administration, budget administration, personnel administration, general administration, and technology usage in the digital era.
