AN INTEGRATION OF PARTICIPIALLY THE FIVE PRECEPTS KEEPING IN EDUCATIONAL OFFICES FOR STRONG CREATION TO COMMUNITY : A CASE STUDY OF THE EXPANSION SCHOOL IN DENCHAI DISTRICT, PHRAE PROVINCE

Abstract

This research aims: 1) to study the context and process educational offices in participially of five precepts keeping for strong creating to community : a case study of the expansion school in Denchai District, Phrae Province, 2) to study the integration of participially five precepts keeping for strong creating to community : a case study of the expansion school in Denchai
District, Phrae Province, and 3) to propose the way in promoting the participially five precepts keeping for strong creating to community : a case study of the expansion school in Denchai District, Phrae Province. This study was the mixed methods research. The qualitative research was done by using both documentary and in-depth interviews methods. The data were analyzed and described in descriptive manner. The quantitative research methods was done by collecting data using questionnaire and data were analyzed by means and standard deviation.

The results were as follows:

1) In the context of the school in Denchai District, the school had set the direction / guideline for educational management to provide education, and educational facilities use as a guideline for educational management, to maximum efficiency and effectiveness. There were quality improvement plans of education and annual plan. They also have policy in educational
management by Buddhist integration with community in implementation the project of promotion the five precepts keeping in accordance with the principle of "home, temple and school".

2) The integrating the participially Five Precepts in educational office for strengthen the community keeping found that community and related organizations had encouraged students and people in the community holding the 5 precepts by coordinating community leaders, local leaders in the village, cooperating with government agencies and educational institutions through community activities. It had campaigned for all sectors to hold the practice five precepts observing, practice meditation, and bringing of the Sufficiency Economy philosophy to integrate the cultivated characteristics of the people to know the harmony and good made for the Nine King, created a sustainable society by promoting to good student, good at student and happiness. It also had promoted to student, people had mind service and promoting strong community with morality.

The results of a study on satisfaction with integrating the participially five precepts of in educational office to strong the community keeping in accordance with the Buddhist integration found that the overall score was at a high level ( = 4.30). When considering each side, it was found that the score was at a high level every side. Therefore, the guidelines for the promotion of the participially five precepts keeping of in schools to strong community should be promoted by the five aspects of Buddhism.
