THE LEARNING FACTORS ON STEM EDUCATION EFFECTIVE TOWARDS TEACHER’S EFFICIENCY IN PHRAPARIYATTIDHAM SCHOOL, GENERAL EDUCATION DEPARTMENT, CHIANG RAI PROVINCE

Abstract
The purposes of this research were 1) to study learning factors in STEM education effective towards teacher’s efficiency, 2) to examine the matching causal model of learning factors in STEM education effective towards teacher’s efficiency and 3) to study direct effects, indirect effects and total effects of learning factors in STEM education towards teacher’s efficiency in Phrapariyattidham School, General Education Department, Chiang Rai Province. Data were collected from 263 samples who was the novice’s student in Senior High School of Phraprariyattidhamma School, elementary education section, Chieng Rai Province. The tools used the questionnaires and analysis by using the descriptive statistics: frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, Pearson product-moment correlation and LISREL analysis. The results showed that;
1. The learning factors in STEM education towards teacher’s efficiency in Phrapariyattidham School, elementary education section, Chieng Rai Province consist of 5 latent variables and 13 observed variables found that were all positive correlation at .01 level of statistically significant.
2. The causal model of learning factors in STEM education effective towards teacher’s efficiency fitted the empirical data with Chi-square = 25.76, df = 13, p = 0.02, GFI = 0.99, AGFI = 0.90, SRMR = 0.02, SRMSR = 0.06. The model variables were at 82% of variance in teacher’s efficiency.
3. The causal model of teaching factors in STEM education towards teacher’s efficiency had direct effects and indirect effects from curriculum factor, ability and characteristics of teacher factors, administrator factor and learning factor were at .01 level of statistically significant.
