A STUDY OF THE MODEL OF POTENTIAL FOR DEVELOPMENT OF THE MORAL TEACHING BUDDHIST MONK TEACHERS IN CHIANG MAI SCHOOLS

Abstract

The objectives of this article were: 1) to study the body of knowledge and analyze the model for developing moral teacher's potential, 2) to develop a model of integrated moral teacher's potential in schools and 3) to propose guidelines and expand results the model for developing an integrated moral teacher's potential model in Chiang Mai school. This research was a mixed methods research combines methods of action research using qualitative research and quantitative research with a network of morality teachers in schools in Chiang Mai by survey 25 districts in the area of Chiang Mai Province. The results of the research found that 1) The body of knowledge and analyze the model for developing moral teacher's potential had 5 models namely; 1) The model for the improvement of the administrative structure, 2) The conceptual model of project implementation, 3) The model of management with participation and creating a team work, 4) The model of encourage for cooperating and 5) Shaping a Vision Model to become conducting. 2) The development of integrated moral teacher potential in Chiang Mai schools found that the method of transmission in organizing activities course suitability and provide a guideline for the development of moral teacher's potential. 3) Guidelines and expand results of the integrated moral teacher potential model in Chiang Mai schools  found that it had 2 approaches namely; 1) Guidelines for developing a capacity model for education of moral teaching monks and, 2) guidelines for capacity development, model of workshop. The body of knowledge of the moral Buddhist monk teachers that were utilized from the research discovered new knowledge that was the relationship model of the four main components: 1) Concept and principles of the work of moral Buddhist monk teachers in the Chiang Mai Province. 2) A study of a model for developing moral Buddhist monk teacher's potential. 3) The method model of a strategy for teaching in school and 4) The model development the moral Buddhist monk teacher's potential.
