POLICY PROPOSALS FOR IMPROVING SCIENCE GRADE OF PRATHOM SUKA 6 SCHOOLS IN THE PHETCHABUN EDUUCATIONAL SERVICE AREA OFFICE AREA 3

Abstract

The obectives of this article were 1) to study current condition and problems of teaching science subjects grade of prathom suka 6 Schools in the Phetchabun educational Service Area Office Area 3, 2) to study the causal factors influencing the important of academic achievement in science subjects grade of Prathom Suka 6 Schools in the Phetchabun Educational Service Area Office Area 3, 3) to develop a policy proposal to raise the level of science grade of Prathom Suka 6 Schools in the Phetchabun Educationa Service Area Office Area 3 and 4) to examine policy proposals for enhancing science grade of Prathom Suka 6 Schools in the Phetchabun Educational Service Area Office Area 3. The population were 2,416 persons in the Administration and science teachers in the Phetchabun Educational Service Area 3 A sample were 458 people consisted of 127 school administrators, 331 teachers. The selection used the Crazy and Morgan tables. Research tools were questionnaires, interviews, Validation Form Data analysis and interpretation. Guantitative analysis used computer program to determine statistics percentage, mean () and standard deviation (SD)

The resulte showed that 1) the current condition and problems of teaching science grade of prathom suka 6 Schools in the Phetchabun educational Service Area Office Area 3. based on the opinions of teachers, were the most extreme : the material in the science curriculum was quite abstract, not concrete linked to real life and student interests, 2) the causal factors the influenced the most successful levels were as follows : Curriculum Teaching, students, media, evaluation, management, parental aspects This has resulted in the achievements of students, 3) Developed 7 policy proposals And have a process for making policy proposals Area level,such as Organizing a training for science teachers prathom suka 6 on Science Teaching Methods and preparation science learning plans Connect to community issues and interest and create a local curriculum interests.
