EVALUATION OF PERSONNEL DEVELOPMENT IN NFORMATION ECHNOLOGY USAGE FOR ACADEMIC ADMINISTRATION USING THE S-MARI MODEL IN PHRAPARIYATTIDHAMMA SCHOOLS, GENERAL EDUCATION SECTION, LAMPANG PROVINCE

Abstract

          The purposes of this study were 1) to investigate the information technology usage for academic management and 2) to study strategies for developing personnel in information technology usage for academic management and evaluate the effectiveness of the S-MARI Model in personnel development of Phrapariyatti-dhamma Schools, General Education Department, Lampang province. The data were collected from 65 school administrators, assistant administrators, academic teachers, and instructors in the academic year 2024. The research instruments were a questionnaire on using information technology for academic management in Phrapariyattidhamma Schools and the S-MARI Model evaluation form. The data were collected using Google Forms and analyzed using percentage, mean (µ), and standard deviation (^s).

          The findings were as follows:

          1. The overall use of information technology for academic management in Phrapariyatti-dhamma Schools was at a high level. In particular, the item that obtained the highest average score was learning management, followed by curriculum management, student assessment and registration, and learning resource management.

          2. In terms of developing personnel's skills in using information technology for academic management and evaluating the S-MARI Model, the development of information technology skills implementing the S-MARI Model overall was at a high level.
