GUIDELINES OF INFORMATION SYSTEM DEVELOPMENT FOR ACADEMIC AFFAIRS ADMINISTRATION OF BANWANGPHO SCHOOL, SAM-NGAO DISTRICT, TAK PROVINCE

Abstract

          The purpose of this research were 1) to investigate the problem of information system for academic affairs administration of Banwangpho school, Sam-ngao district, Tak province and 2) to find guidelines of information system development for academic affairs administration of Banwangpho school, Sam-ngao district, Tak province. The research population were school administrators, head of administration, head of learning subject groups, board of basic education institutions, the teacher were responsible of administrative, teacher and educational and student parents personnels 35 persons. Data was gathered by problem condition questionnaire, focus group discussion report and suitability assessment form. The data were analyzed by an application package for frequencies, percentages, mean and standard deviation.

          The results showed that:

          1. The problem in the information system for academic affairs administration of Banwangpho school, Sam-ngao district, Tak province. The current problem situation as a whole was at high levels. Considering several aspects, it was found that are all items were at high levels.

          2. Guidelines of information system development for academic affairs administration of Banwangpho school. School should analyze the information system thoroughly. Explore basic information that matches the actual conditions of the educational institution. Provide personnel with knowledge, expertise and appropriateness to be responsible for system administrators and system users directly. System design to be convenient, fast, easy to use, uncomplicated and easy maintenance
