Abstract

The objectives of this research were: 1) to develop an effective Thai language study exercise and 2) to develop academic achievement and the ability of reading and writing. The sampling used in this study were 27 of grade 3 students who were selected by purposeful random sampling. The tools used for data collection were a single group trial plan, an exercise for reading and writing development, and a multiple-choice test. The statistics used were mean (x̅), percentage (%) and standard deviation (S.D.).

The results of this research found that: 1) the development of reading and writing in spelling errors of the final sound by using exercises are more efficient 2) effects on students after using the exercises for grade 3 students of Thai language studies, found that students had skills of reading and writing better.
