Abstract

The purpose of this academic paper is as follows: 1) To study the leadership of King Tilokarat. Ruled his kingdom 2) To study and analysis about the supporting that King Tilokkachat offered to Buddhism, King Tilokkaraj supported the patronage of Buddhist activities. The study found that King Tilokaraj ruled Lanna Kingdom stability for t 45 years. Lanna Kingdom has been strong expanded the power of Chiang Mai and acrossed to cover other 57 districts.

            The great leadership of King Tilokarat was theology, which is the patronage for the 8th revised Tripitaka in 2020. For the religious activities, the ordination of   500 monks was set up for merit-making ceremony. He also built Wat Chet Yod Temple which was modeled from Bodh Gaya Cathedral India.The pagoda at Wat Chedi Luang was built He also built the important Buddha images for religious ceremonies and ordained the monks to study and practice Buddhist religion, He went to worship various Buddhist temples such as Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, Suan Dok Temple, Chedi Luang Temple, Santi Tham Temple, etc. Has sent Lanna's Tripitaka to Burma and Lan Xang Kingdom. In his reign, Chiang Mai was very prosperous, strong and respected for other kingdoms
